The minute I saw Que Sera I knew I wanted to try knitting it! It took me a couple of days to decide if I was brave enough and then I pulled out the needles and started knitting. The days have been filled with moving furniture, packing up the older boy's things (that was hard), painting, and creating a space for ME!! Life has been a bit crazy around my house the last few months, holidays, one son home for Christmas and then heading back to college, one son leaving for the Army, and having all 5 kids home all day for 2 weeks. The younger kiddos have been off track for a few weeks and I have been trying to keep them busy, so yesterday when I was reading this blog, I saw how to make donuts from refrigerator biscuits! We Drove into San Fransisco on Saturday to enjoy the music of Joe Purdy, he was playing at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival. This was the view as we came into the city, I don't think I will ever get tired of going to the city. A baby gift for a couple at church, the baby is already here (but better late than never). The blanket is two pieces of flannel topstitched together (makes a nice warm and good sized blanket). New Socks I have new socks and I love them! I used Wendy's Toe up Sock Pattern. I loved this pattern it is easy to follow and my socks are so comfortable. The only problem I had was with the bind off, no matter what I did they were too tight, so I finally went up two needle sizes half way through the ribbing and now they fit. My Very Disorganized Stash Now that we have school out of the way I decided to clean up my knitting and yarn. Candle Flame Shawl Well It looks a little funny right now! I started last night, but I kept getting hung up on row 11.
